History

Luxury watch brand, Longines was brought into existence in the year 1832 by Auguste Agassiz. He initiated the business under a different name in the mentioned year. His watches earned immense appreciation in the local markets and he soon began marketing his collection in distant geographies. Agassiz's hard work and dedication brought him worldwide fame. However, his health started deteriorating and the legacy was passed to his nephew, Ernest Francillon in the year 1850. Longines is now a part of the renowned Swatch Group.

Design
The Longines L2.678.4.11.2 from the brand’s Sports Legends Collection has been designed for those who love sporting elaborate pieces. It comes in a 47.50 mm stainless steel case presented on a brown alligator strap. It has a silver opaline center dial imprinted with minute track and a white lacquered outer dial printed with black Roman numerals. There is blue and black detailing on the dial as well as the bezel. It has a transparent case back that comes with a beautifully engraved back cover.
