Every Polène story begins with this shape. The Polène Numéro Un was the Paris house's first creation in 2016, and its interlocking curves and folded flap have since become the signature repeated across the entire collection. This is the Nano, the size that reinterprets the flagship at its most compact.
The founding siblings researched for around eighteen months and made 25 prototypes before settling on it. Today each bag is cut and sewn in Ubrique, Andalusia, Spain's historic leather town, from textured Italian calf. Here the taupe grain is set off by a gold-tone Polène stamp and four gold-tone feet that keep the base off the table.
The proof is in the demand. The South China Morning Post charted Polène's rise as a TikTok-driven favourite as it opened its first Asian store in Tokyo, while Harper's Bazaar Singapore names the Numéro Un Nano the brand's top seller.
Graded Like New and supplied with its original Polène box and dust bag, it carries by its top handle or crossbody on its long adjustable strap: the design that started Polène, in its most wanted size.
