David Beckham became the face of the Transocean Chronograph Unitime in November 2012, and this is that launch-year watch in its original form: the black dial with the silver globe the later Pilot version dropped.
One turn of the crown moves the hour hand, the ring of 24 cities and the date together, forwards or back, while the seconds run on. Breitling built and patented that mechanism itself; the movement is COSC chronometer-certified.
Worldtempus praised its unprecedented user friendliness. Sotheby's New York sold a steel black-dial example of this reference for USD 5,040 in March 2021, and a pink gold sister made GBP 7,560 in London that year. The Transocean line has since given way to the Premier, so this globe dial is no longer made.

The Ocean Classic steel mesh bracelet and Breitling-signed folding clasp are clean and tight. The original Breitling box and papers are not included.
